Kasilof Creekside Cabins ~ Kenai Peninsula, Alaska
Are you looking for a unique Alaska experience? Consider Kasilof Creekside Cabins. The Cabins are located in Kasilof in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula and are a quiet retreat at the end of your day. They are a convenient home away from home for exploring the many activities the Peninsula has to offer. You are surrounded by great sportfishing activities. Bring your catch back to the cabin and fire up the grill or a local fish processor can prepare and ship frozen to your home.
Crooked Creek is a short walk from the cabins situated on the property. The bench is a great place to sit and enjoy the solitude or spend time with a good book. In season you can see the salmon swimming upstream. There is a fire pit in the back yard along with a horse shoe pit.
It’s not only about fishing. Read more about activities on the website. Feel free to call for help planning your Alaskan dream vacation.
Both cabins are newly built, immaculate and personally cared for by the owner. They are heated for year-round visits. Bear Cabin has a sleeping loft, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and amenities to make your stay safe and comfortable. Moose Cabin enjoys many of the same amenities as Bear Cabin with the added advantage of being pet-friendly. Both cabins are ideal for making yourself at home in the wilderness of Alaska!
Tustumena Lake, one of the largest lakes in Alaska is four miles from the property and offers many activities including fishing, kayaking, and boating. Local guides will be happy to make your visit enjoyable.
Johnson Lake Recreation Area is a great place to spend the day. There are public restrooms and picnic tables in a pleasant woodsy setting.
Centennial Lake is smaller and two miles from the cabins also on Tustumena Lake Road. From there you can hike to an alpine lake (4 miles one way) or continue further on the trail into the Caribou Hills.
Dear Valued Guests!
I fell in love with Alaska nearly a decade ago while on vacation. The vast amazingly beautiful frontier was a sharp contrast to any place I’d been in the lower 48 and fueled my passion for the great outdoors. I knew it was a matter of time before I came to call Alaska my home and soon found work in the southeast.
I always enjoyed southcentral and the Kasilof area as it is on the road system and has all the activities I love. I enjoy running and hiking with my Australian Shepherd Chrome, fishing, kayaking, and camping. I love the snow and dogsledding, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and the amazing Northern Lights. I enjoy the company of like-minded people and the cabins allow me to share my passion and love of Alaska with guests.
I look forward to meeting with you! Please feel free to call and I’ll answer any questions and help you plan your Kasilof vacation.
Warmly ~ Mary
